Help with a jump drive and Windows 7?

I just bought a SanDisk Cruzer Micro 8GB flash drive. I tried to connect to my computer, and I have a screen Backup blue. anyone know if I will be able to use this flash drive in Windows 7? I've used it on another computer that has a view, but it sure did not work in the mines. Please help. It just comes as soon as trying to open the jump drive. It is said to back up my files, and I have to restart your computer. Also said something about it because of new software are being installed. I do not remember exactly what he said, but it is very close.
